Hydrangea Kitchen is a wonderful spot for breakfast, lunch, or a cup of coffee! Megan is now the head chef and she is great! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and I always enjoy my experience. My only suggestion is to avoid South's lunch time as the kids make it very crowded. Any time before 10:30 or after 12:15 is best.

I could almost give Hydrangea 5 stars, but I need to eat there a few more times to be sure, and that's good news for me because what I've tried is delicious. I don't think a Cobb salad can get any better. They also have the JL Hudson Maurice salad... mmm. The rest of the menu looks great with specialty sandwiches and burgers and more. The dining area is small and quaint, and there are some items for sale (gifts and antiques). We ordered our food at the counter and they bring it to your table when it's ready. The staff and cooks are very pleasant too. We found it tasty and relaxing. Try the cucumber lemonade! Update: 08/16/14: Yeah. Gotta give Hydrangea 5 stars. The food is fresh and delicious and the setting is perfect for a local cafe. Breakfast too. Very tasty!

Attention Grosse Pointers a delicious lunch spot has opened in your neighborhood! SO excited to have visited this place and be so pleasantly surprised! A cute, shabby chic atmosphere, with seriously good food! I mean, they nailed the Hudson's Maurice salad. One of my dining companions who holds the original Hudson's salad in high regard said it was better. I even heard the server ask if she wanted it chopped and tossed (something most places fail to realize is important). The authentic Belgian Fries were a hit with our table too. I ordered the salmon sliders and they were great! They surely have hit the nail on the head offering basic/simple foods with complex flavors. Give it a try!

Hydrangea is truly a fantastic lunch restaurant. You are able to sit inside the cute and quaint restaurant or outside on fisher. The food is amazing, I love all of the salads and soups in particular. Also, the service was phenomenal, they ran out of sweet pickles for my mom's salad, so the owner ran next door to Fresh Food Market to pick up a jar and they remade the salad. Outstanding place.
